The Paradox

I stood near the breakfast table, skimming through a copy of the post-mortem report. The housekeeper of a famous actor had been murdered and his body was found dumped in a sewer.  “Rigor mortis sets in after two hours of death, provided, the body is left untouched, isn’t it Ronit?” Anaysha was sitting with her back to me, and I had given her no sign of my occupation. ‘How did you know what I was already here?
